Steve Kershaw (45)
Dr Steve Kershaw has worked with Professor Burt since 1996 on the application of Colloidal Quantum Dots (QDs) in Telecommunications, primarily as compact ultra broadband optical amplifier materials. Steve’s experimental input has taken the technology from the basic synthesis of colloidal solutions through to the development of several thin film deposition techniques and on to the design and production process of QD waveguide devices. He has a track record of innovation having secured 5 patents during his time with BT. Steve is a founder and Managing Director of Trackdale.
