Rachel Doherty joins Trackdale
Trackdale Ltd is delighted to announce that Dr Rachel Doherty has joined the company as Research Scientist. Rachel joins from Bristol University where she was awarded her PHD for has just completed a post doctorate assignment on the Enhancement of Phosphor Emission by ZnO nanostructures
Commenting on the appointment Steve Kershaw, Managing Director of Trackdale, said “We are delighted that Rachel has decided to join Trackdale, she will bring direct experience of developing advanced materials utilising nanotechnology, specifically in the area of solar photovoltaics where we see massive potential for our materials.”

Trackdale delivers first prototypes
Trackdale Ltd, the materials application company, has delivered its first prototype optical amplifiers for customers to begin early characterisation tests.
Commenting on the achievement of this key milestone Steve Kershaw, Managing Director of Trackdale said “ Although this is very early days in the development of this device, the delivery is underpinned by a raft of materials process and fabrication development. This work will stand us in good stead in future iterations of the amplifier and enable us to accelerate other applications where we are in the early stages of development.”
