Trackdale Ltd is a nanomaterial optical application company specialising in the development of polymer/ semiconductor nanocrystal hybrid materials and optical fabrication processes for devices operating in the infra red, for example for optical fibre telecommunication systems.
The company is currently recruiting Chemists to specialise primarily in optical polymer synthesis.
The chosen candidate will work as part of a small highly skilled team, developing polymer syntheses and giving polymer technology support to the processing/ device team.
Experience or knowledge of thin film processing of polymer materials would be an advantage. Specifically, experience of cleanroom optical device fabrication processes, such as high resolution optical lithography and wet and dry etch processes, is desirable.
Applicants should have a relevant PhD, however graduates with several years relevant industrial research experience will be considered.
